Kaliya’s Story

Kaliya was born on Yokota Air Base, Japan but grew up in fabulous Las Vegas. they flourished in marching band in high school and moved to new orleans to attend dillard university’s School of nursing. kaliya currently works as a surgical iCU nurse.

Carlos’s Story

Carlos Hill was born in norfolk, virginia and grew up in wonderous Las vegas. He nourished his deep love for music and video games from childhood. carlos is pursuing his dream of developing games and recently graduated with degree in computer science and game design.

Our Relationship

We met in 2009 in the band room of valley high school, las vegas. We nervously circled each other throughout our teen years and went our separate ways after graduation, but on one fateful christmas break in 2019, we reconnected. it didn’t take long for carlos to move across state lines to bring us both together, and now we are both thriving in jazzbulous new orleans… for now.
